You need to be more creative because a woman is not just that, it's the love, the affection, the touch, the massage, the attention. But don't be fooled when a woman will tell her man that, it's okay, baby. I still love you. Lie, lie, lie.

Hello everyone, welcome to Adventures in Good Health, the place where we talk about natural approaches to healthy living. My name is David Maloof and I am your host. Erectile dysfunction. Not a topic a lot of men want to talk about, but it's a topic we need to discuss. So today we're gonna talk about ED. What it is, how it affects men and their partners, along with some actions that men can take,

to improve their natural performance. Our guest today is Dr. Steven Tates. Dr. Tates is a natural path, master herbalist, and he has over half a century of herbal medicine experience. So let's talk ED with Dr. Steven Tates. Hello, Dr. Tates. Welcome to the show. Thank you for having me. So Doc, what are we gonna talk about today? We're gonna talk about...

our herbal male tonic or our male revitalizing tonic. Herbal male tonic, okay? So I'm kind of curious, I'm just gonna ask you the first question. Why would someone take a herbal male tonic? What does it do? Well, to answer that, I really need to explain how bad the whole male sexual system is.

has been over the last 20, 30 years. When I was growing up, male impotency or ED, which is short for rectal dysfunctions and all that kind of stuff, typically happened with people, men, when they were getting into their 60s and 70s. I remember whispers of people talking about, my uncle or my

cousins got an issue, which really meant they had an issue. They were trying to It was something that people really didn't want to talk about back then? Oh no, it was taboo. Because back when I was growing up, if you admitted to male issues, male functional issues, you were looked at as being half a man, or you look at like you had the plague.

Like, you know, I remember growing up and a couple of people talked about their home and male issues and suddenly people that were around started backing up like it was contagious. But now you see on TV, you see advertised, you see celebrities, you see it constantly talked about. The whole medical drug issues or product talks about how bad.

male impotency is. Because when Viagra came out, it was designed for something else entirely. But when it was found out that it helped with male issues, regardless of the fact that you cause a heart attack and liver failure, it started in the first - That's not good. Right. First three, four years that they made like -

you know, some ridiculous trillions of dollars just on the sales of Viagra. But people would take it even with the risk of liver failure, which means you could die, you know, or heart attacks, which means you could die. From the side effects of Viagra, now you hear other products out there, you know, you see advertising, you don't want to take Viagra and see others and stuff, you know.

come to my office and I guarantee you in 30 minutes, you'll walk out satisfied. How? I don't know. Okay, but. So something I know, I see these ads on my Facebook feed and it's almost always they're choosing models who appear to be highly fit, highly athletic, 20 somethings. I look at those ads, I'm like, oh.

Is it really something that is affecting younger men? I mean, you mentioned at one time it was people in their 60s and 70s and it's affecting younger men, even men in their 20s and 30s? That's a good question. In my profession, because I've been doing this for half a century now, the age is getting younger and younger and younger. I mean, well.

was like when you're in 50s, 60s, and definitely in your 70s. Then it started showing more people in their 40s than in their 30s. Now I'm seeing young men in their late 20s, early 30s that are having problems. Some of it is because of diet, some of it is because they're drinking off water, they don't take their supplements, you know. And men typically would think that...

That area of the body, you know has an abundance of vitality and that will last them a long period of time, so they tend to Overuse that if you know what I'm saying by overusing it and think that it is always going to replenish Diet plays a huge part because there's so many artificial foods on the market that lowers the testosterone level

you've got things like soy -based products that increases the estrogen in men, and as the estrogens increase, the testosterone's decreased. Then you have problems with circulation. Prostatitis and eventually prostate cancer starts with lower testosterone, but the blood is not circulating through that area of the body. So when the blood gets stagnant,

things swell, and that's when you get to post -swollen prostate, and that's when you have those sexual misfunctions because of the inflammation and there's no blood flow. When there's no blood flow, after a while, it goes from swelling to fungus and bacteria in that area. I know that sounds ugly, but you know, fungus and bacteria in that area, which then contributes to

the prostate cancer issues because the PSA goes up because the blood's not circulating. You're not getting the basic supplements like zinc and vitamin C, which helps build the immune system and work for that area of the body, you know, which works well with our male turnip. So it's getting more and more prevalent. They show these young women in these ads because

Some men when they see that, they're just like, I hope I'll be able to mess with one of these young-looking models again. And it affects men's self-confidence, their drive, when that area of the body stops functioning. And it can be gradual, or it can be all of a sudden. Some people, it's like a switch has been flipped.

You know, and they thought they were vital. And then two months later, very little is happening, you know? And this is obviously something that's also going to impact not only, obviously their, their quality of life, but also potentially the quality of life of their partner. And now a quick word from our sponsor, Dr. Tate's herbal tinctures and tonics. Dr. Tate's offers the herbal blood tonic, Doc's detox.

Click the links below and now back to the show. Absolutely, absolutely. I've seen couples come in and a man could not function well. And I'm saying, well, and I don't want to be R -rated, but you need to be more creative because a woman is not just that, it's the love, the affection, the touch, the massage, the attention, but.

Don't be fooled when a woman will tell her man that it's okay, baby. That's still love you. Lie, lie, lie. That may be telling the truth, but it has an effect on the woman too. But the woman many times will say, no, it's okay. And part of her may mean that because of how she feels about the man she's with, especially she's been with that man for a long period of time, but it does have an effect.

on the woman because when the male sexual drive goes down, the women tend to try to suppress their sexual drive, which then creates health problems for them, which is subject for another time when we talk about our female tonic. That will help. But this is of epidemic proportions, which is why the industry makes billions and billions of dollars on

all kind of junk that doesn't work. Our male tonic is designed, one, to increase that blood flow and reduce the inflammation, which we talked about earlier. That's where, when you look at the blood tonic, and it has the burdock and the gentian and the sarsaparilla, which we have talked about before, which is a bitter herb, but it helps that blood flow through that area of the body.

Then when we start working with things like our sour metal berries, it's in it, and the gold of cola is in it, that combination works very well. Now, just as an FYI, some of our people use the blood tonic and the male tonic together, which will be a subject for another time, but sometimes people combine it to try to get that better effect for the body. But...

Here's the other thing that people don't realize. There are two primary areas in a body that deal with our immune system. Besides water and sleep and all those kinds of things, the two particular areas of the body that have a problem is our reproductive system and our liver. Either one of them or both of them may not function the way they need to.

the immune system becomes compromised. So the male tonic or the problem with that area of the body tends to weaken the immune system and starts to break the body down and the weaker immune system contributes to the PSA going up or the urinary tract system, which is like the next door neighbor to our male organs.

starts to break down. And that means you're susceptible to all kind of health issues after that. So how does the male tonic, the herbal male tonic, help with those things? Well, first as I mentioned, it helps with the blood circulation. It helps with the blood flow, but it helps with the urinary tract flow. So it's helping move fluid out from...

on the kidneys, the gallbladder, urinary tract system. This is what happens. The urinary tract system becomes compromised first because there's not enough fluid flow or blood flow through that area. Then it starts to affect the prostate and the function. So the male tunnel starts to work first on...

the urinary tract system, the bladder, the gallbladder, the kidneys, and as that area starts to get better, then as you continue using the melatonin, then you start to get a good blood flow through the prostate. But see, it's like the body, how can I put it, the body prioritizes when you're taking something, especially something natural, something herbal, okay, and so.

If you take in the melatonin to help everything move and to help nourish that area of the body, much of that is used by the body on an area that's more of a priority first, which tends to be the urinary tract system. And so that has to be fixed first before it helps the prostate. That's why I mentioned earlier, during our melatonin,

some of the other things that need to combine with it is a lot more water, because it kind of goes in this order. Dehydration will contribute to the problem very quickly. And I don't mean taking liquids, it's that water consumption. It's gotta be water. Gotta be water. Second would be the blood circulation.

which was coming to me on tonic, which we're gonna go back to in a second, but I wanna say the third part, but then go back to the second part, okay? The third part is making sure that the supplements you're taking are geared more for helping the prostate area. That would be things like zinc, you know? 50 milligrams of zinc and the vitamin C. There's some other things you hear on the market like,

Hygiene movement and boron and all those kind of things that kind of nourish and nourish the area to make that area stronger. But that doesn't mean anything if you're not getting the water and if you're not getting the blood flow and if you're not taking something like I'm me on time. But you see both things. Water primary, because without the water, nothing in the body's gonna work right. I don't care how powerful it is.

is just not gonna work right. So that 48, 64 ounces of water spread out through the day. Not juice, not tea, not sodas. Juice and tea could be good, but plain old -fashioned water. Not with lemon in it or anything, because the body knows the difference. That's the first key. Then with the water, and then when we're doing the male tonic.

That works good as a combination. Then once we have that as a combination, then the supplements and stuff will work better. Now, I'm not going to spend a lot of time on the burdock and gentian because if people do a deep dive and look at some previous podcasts, they'll understand. But our burdock and gentian, bitter herbs, are at the top of the list as far as bitter herbs.

that helps that blood move and helps clean the blood, which means the blood flow through this area is a whole lot better. That's why the bird octogenetina and the back up of the sarsaparilla is very important in a lot of herbal mixtures. So that's key. Then we get to what we talk about with the salt per -metal berries. And they're real high berries, but you know,

when you look at them, but they combine well with the bitter herbs, like the burdock and gentian stuff, because the salt pomegranate still falls into a bitter herb. It looks like a hard grape seed or something. Okay? Yeah, we've talked about that. It's not a succulent berry. It's, you get that at a herb store. It looks like a hard little pellets almost. Yeah, yeah. I mean...

And it's hard for you to extract the properties with that hard pellets. And the only way that can happen is, you know, we make sure in the processing of the male tunnel that we're using the crushed berries, not the powder, not the hard berry, because the body can't, you know, deform it won't work. So we use what we call the cutting sift.

you know, saw per metal, okay, so that, that way we can get that in. Now, I had a little list here, so, because I, you know, I'm a scientist, so I like people when they're listening, and they're taking notes, because, you know, we should always tell our podcast viewers, you know, look, we're at the podcast, but you might want to take some notes, too, in case you want to call me, and find out more detail.

but I'm gonna mention some of the things that are very key. The sarsaparilla is an anti -inflammatory. So all by itself it helps reduce inflammation. Now we know the Burdock and Gentian does that as well. So you see, it could all just start to reduce the inflammation like clearing the highway so the blood flows through that area better. But being an anti -inflammatory, it can reduce inflammation.

around our kidneys, you know, around our bladder and gallbladder, because when those areas become inflamed, then that sexual performance goes right down the tube. Okay? But sarsaparilla also good to reduce infections in that area. Cancer is a bacteria fungus inflammatory condition. So when you

end up with prostate cancer, it's like saying, poor blood flow, too much fungus and bacteria and junk that end up stuck in our prostate area and not moving, and anything that's stuck eventually starts to ferment, build bacteria, throws that system off. Am I making sense with this? Yeah, you're making sense. Okay, now, it also...

They say that it helps prevent hair loss. Now...

Yes and no. Okay. You'll see sometimes things that it's like, uh -huh, you know, but I could see it helping because it's reducing inflammation throughout the whole body. So I've had some men say that, you uh, I was starting to get bald and I took, you know, the, uh, male tonic and I could see little seedlings coming up in my hair, you know, like I'm getting a little more hair growth. So that is possible.

but that's not the reason why I had to solve for metal. I mean, I get the attitude is look, performance and bald, no performance and hair. That's an easy choice, you know? I'll go bald, you know? Shave it all off as long as I can still function, you know? I get it here.

I get here, but I can't perform. No, most men are not, all men are not gonna go for that if we have to choose. So, you know, we look at that and we don't pay attention, but it really helps the urinary tract and its functions. Improves prostate health. So, the salpon metal, different from the burdock and gentian and stuff, it helps nourish the prostate too.

So it's feeding the prostate, which when you feed something that's starving, then it gets stronger. So it's about just nourishing and feeding the prostate while it's reducing the inflammation around the prostate. So I'm feeding and reducing the inflammation and helping the blood flow. We're just a salt pimento by itself, let alone mixed in with the stuff that we have.

Okay. It's also good for women in some cases with ovarian issues, but you know, we got our female tonic that helps with that. Okay. It helps, as I'm saying, abnormal amounts of what's called androgen, which is spelled A -N -D -R -O -G -E -N, which,

affects the male functions, one of the things that builds up when everything is blocked. It can help in reducing what it tends to be called cyst in that area of the body. And then it helps just blends well. It just blends well, but that's not the only thing that's in the male pilot.

Cause we've got the Burdock and Gentian. You got the two heavy hitters in Burdock root and Gentian root. And you've got the Saw palmetto Berry. Which is a major big hitter. That's a heavy hitter on its own then. That's a heavy hitter on its own. It's hitting another area, cause the Burdock and Gentian is a heavy hitter for the whole body, including the malfunction. The Saw palmetto.

is a heavy hitter specifically for the male sexual organs in the prostate area. It's not a heavy hitter like the burdock and gentian for the other areas of the body, but it's a heavy hitter for that area of the body. All right, so then rounding out the cast, I'm using a Hollywood term there, but rounding out the cast of the herbal male tonic is? Go to Cola.

Coca -Cola. Go to Cola leaves now. I'm sorry. I called it Coca -Cola last time and you gave me a glare. All right, so yeah, don't listen to me. Go to Cola. Yeah, it begins with a G, just in Go to Cola. All right. Go to Cola. And the thing is that when we're putting the formula together, okay, people were saying,

novice that didn't understand. We said with the Burdine Congentian, is their roots, their strong roots. The Golda Cola is in the high berry, which still falls in the root family. Golda Cola is leaves. Now typically - Oh, just to be clear. So the sarsaparilla, a supplemental berry - Sarsaparilla is root. Sarsaparilla is a root.

All right, so I got it. I kind of messed up. So, the saw pamelo is the berry and the gotu kola is the leaf. The leaf. Okay. Okay. And now, and most people who are novice at farmer making, they will say, well, you can't mix the leaves with roots when you're preparing the farmer. Well, you don't do them all together at one time. So,

We got the burdock and gentium and the sarsaparilla and the salt per metal because those are all your bitters that need to be processed differently. But the gold leaf is processed separately. And then once that's done, then it's combined with the burdock.

and the gentian and the sarsaparilla and Gotu Kola. Now, the reason why is because the Gotu Kola is really, really, really good for reducing inflammation again. You notice as a theme that with all of the herbs, it's doing what? It's reducing swelling and inflammation, which is helping with the blood flow. But then the other thing is that, which is a side benefit,

is golden cola helps with memory and concentration. So it's actually a food that is feeding your brain matter, which helps with memory, concentration, studying. When I was in school, I lived on golden cola with peppermint. It was real tasty, so it opened up the brain waves. But it opened up the brain waves because it was...

reducing inflammation in the brain in every area of the body. They go to cold lift, tends to decrease blood pressure. The same is with the buttock and gentian helping the blood flow and the inflammation that reduces the inflammation. But when you reduce inflammation and have a better blood flow, things like cholesterol and blood pressure numbers tend to go down.

but the gold and cola is real specific for helping to reduce the blood pressure. Elevated blood pressure can contribute to impotency. Okay? So the blood pressure alone can contribute to impotency or rectal dysfunctions. And then the blood flow can do the same thing. So any mixture helps the blood flow, but then it helps reduce...

the inflammation and helps lower the blood pressure. And then along with it, which helps you understand the gold of cola, you heard of collagen, right? That helps feed the muscles and strengthens the body is used for workout. Well, the gold of cola mixed in on the alternative increases collagen production. There's the other reason why I take it.

you know, starting to get more muscles, more tone because that was all mixed in together. So these things are not by accident, okay? It helps with the skin cells. It gives elasticity to the muscles, you know, so it has those additional side, you know, side things that it can help with. But the biggest thing is that a lot of our men, it's just...

they just love the male tonic. They love the male tonic because they start to see their sexual performance increases tremendously. And it starts with that saluting in the morning thing. I'm trying to be PC. As much as I can, you know. Because - This podcast is not age restricted, so we just gotta keep that in mind. Oh yeah, I understand.

You know, I remember when I was growing up, because, you know, when I grew up in a generation where, you know, my family and the elders would say, you know, you're in grown people's discussion. You need to leave the room. You know, because I remember, you know, my father and my uncle and stuff, they would make these comments like, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I feel so good and they start banging. I could chop wood, you know, and I'd be like, what wood you gonna chop, Dad? Whop, boy. And it gets out of people's discussion. Now, one of the signs that you're starting to develop problems is that in the morning, that body saluting starts to decrease.

And that's a sign that the testosterone is going down and there's problems in the prostate area. That's like an early warning sign, you know? Okay. That you can still perform, but it's not saluting like, you know, like, you know, my father and his said they could chop wood with it kind of thing. So that's an external sign for men that I've got to change something. I've got to improve something.

And it's such a simple thing if you catch it early to help maintain it. Now, I've heard people say that, well, you know, when you get into, well, they say thirties and forties now, but when you get into your fifties and sixties, there's going to be a extreme decrease in your abilities to perform.

Some people, yes, but there's gonna be a decrease because of age and time, but not to the point that you have to take something that's life -threatening in order to get things to function the way it needs to. So that's why our male tony has become just so popular. And that, along with our blood tonic and detox and stuff like that.

It's a big seller. People love it, men in particular. I don't do that commercial where they say, yeah, yeah, you'll love it and then they'll show the wife and she'll love it too. I don't go there like that. But there's so, so, so many things out there that are false advertisement. It still goes back to...

to making sure that you do the right things for the body. Stress and anxiety, anger, that all can contribute to it because stress and anxiety and anger will cause, what do you think that would cause that would affect the sexual performance or the strength of the prostate? Anger and bitterness and...

And all those types of things increases inflammation, slows down the blood flow. It increases inflammation and slows down the blood flow. Then it just slows down the blood flow. Blood pressure can be elevated. Cholesterol can go up, blood sugar problem, and then of course you have problems through our reproductive system and our liver, which then weakens the immune system, which then increases our problems.

So Doc, there is one more ingredient. Did we talk about the Sarsaparilla root? No, we really hadn't yet. Okay. So do you know how I know that there was there? It's not that I have such a great memory. I just happened to have a bottle of the tonics and it's right here, right on the ingredients list. I was like, oh, Sarsaparilla. I was cheating. That's okay. That's okay. I mean, we kind of, you know, passed over a little bit.

But the sarsaparilla root, it's a companion to the burdock and the gentian. It kind of supplements it. It kind of makes the burdock and gentian function even faster. But it's the same bitter herb, same kind of anti -inflammatory, increased blood flow.

It has a unique effect on the urinary tract system, which is important. Like a couple others like to go to cold and stuff because as I said earlier, when the urinary tract system is compromised, guaranteed, guaranteed that you will eventually develop prostate problem. Because when you're not drinking enough water all by itself, then it's going to have an effect.

on the kidneys and on the bladder and then eventually on our blood flow and then the blood flow through our reproductive system. So it's a complementary herb but it's very similar to the Burdock and Gentian as far as helping with the flow. Sasparella root works best combined with some of the stronger bitter herb. It can help by itself.

but it works so, so, so much better when it's working with the king and queen of the bitter herbs, which is the burdock and gentian. So you get that trifecta, you know, of the three of them. Then you get the sour palmetto, which the sour palmetto and the gotu kola, it's like telling the body when the body's consuming it that the burdock and gentian and sarsaparilla, yes, is good for the whole body, but with the gotu kola.

and the sarsaparilla, it's like instructing that mixture to do more for the urinary tract and for the prostate area when you're adding in the sarsaparilla and the gold cola. You don't have the sarsaparilla and gold cola, it's just going to do a good general flush. An excellent flush, but when you add those others, it's like saying, okay, you can flush the whole body, but over there,

is where we wanna work with it the most, which will be for us, the male area of the body. Okay. Well, Doc, I've got a couple of questions. I didn't do it. You didn't do it? wasn't me. Uh -oh. You're not in trouble. You're not in trouble. I'm reading the suggested use. It says, as a dietary supplement, take one capful daily, more if needed, until the bottle is empty.

Are there considerations or risks that someone would want to take into account before they start taking the herbal male tonic? The biggest risk would probably be people who are on blood thinners, like coumadin and heparin and stuff like that, okay? Because although the bitter herbs,

are not going to thin the blood. If you're on blood thinners and you're taking that, it can affect the usage of the blood thinners like the Coumadin and Heparin and stuff, and then can cause unnecessary internal bleeding and sometimes external bleeding. So that's one of the red flags in a lot of supplements and a lot of herbs when people are on blood thinners.

or cholesterol medication, you know, like some of the statin, but in this case, the blood tonic, the D -ty, even the male tonic because of how it's cleaning the blood actually helps with the cholesterol. It actually helps with the blood pressure even though the male tonic is geared towards that area because again, reducing the inflammation, helping with the blood flow.

So it helps with the three major blood issues. The three major blood issues in the body, diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure. So it's gonna help indirectly while it's really focused on the prostate area. Doc, if anyone has any questions about taking the male, the herbal male tonic, how can they reach you?

They can give me a call. The best number is 404 -943 -1171. I'm going to say that again. You might be running for a pin, even though it's on podcasts and they can play it again. It can be the 404. And it's also in your show notes. Right, yeah. All right. 943 -1171. And then you can look me up online. Just put Dr. Steven Tate and you'll get some numbers and stuff. But...

you get an extra consideration. I take care of my patients very well. They tell me I do. But when you tell me that, you know, I heard you, you know, on Adventures in Good Health podcast, and I say, oh, okay, you're a listener. Okay. So you get, I don't want to say you get extra consideration, but you really do. You really do. Because what it tells me is that,

you're more than just curious. You're really looking at things to improve your health. Cause some people just call it a curiosity, you know, but you watch in a podcast, you're learning things, which tells me that you're looking at either preventing or improving your health, which I won't say gives you extra consideration, but it does, you know, because I like working with people who want to make changes to their health.

There's so many people that just want to perform better. Once they're performing better, they stop taking the stuff that helps them improve, which then they crash and burn again, and then they're running back to try to get the male tonic, you know, and sometimes the blood tonic with it. The body's only going to let you improve so many times. When you improve, and then you stop, and you crash and burn.
